SC Healthcare Risk Management & Quality (SC ASHRM+AHQ) Coffee & Conversation
This quarter’s SC ASHRM+AHQ “Coffee & Conversation” series will feature a presentation entitled “Navigating the THA/TKA Patient Reported Outcome-Performance Measure (PRO-PM) Submission to CMS.”
This discussion provides an overview of the CMS THA/TKA PRO-PM, including its history and required patient-reported outcome instruments along with the full data specifications and pre/post-operative data collection windows. Attendees will learn the reporting requirements, timelines, and payment implications under the Hospital IQR and coming down the pipeline OQR Programs.
The presentation concludes with common challenges in collecting patient reported outcome data in the hospital setting and practical strategies for building a successful collection and submission process.
