Nabila Skiff

Nabila Skiff joined the South Carolina Hospital Association in 2026 as the Program Manager on the Data and Measurement team. In this role, she serves as the data intermediary for multiple health initiatives, including AccessHealth and Healthy People, Healthy Carolinas, ensuring that data collection, analysis, and reporting needs are addressed.

Prior to joining SCHA, she served as the Data Coordinator at the South Carolina Office of Rural Health (SCORH), where she supported data collection and reporting efforts aimed at advancing health equity and reducing health disparities. Through her work, she leveraged population and community health data to inform organizational priorities and strategic planning processes, developed data visualizations and reports to communicate health trends and population-level insights, and presented findings to support rural health planning and enhance understanding of community needs across South Carolina.

Nabila earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Newberry College and a Master of Public Health in Health Promotion, Education, and Behavior from the University of South Carolina. Following her undergraduate studies, she joined the Children’s Physical Activity Research Group (CPARG), where she contributed to multiple NIH-funded research projects focused on physical activity behaviors and related factors among young children in the context of childhood obesity prevention.

At CPARG, Nabila gained valuable experience in study design and implementation. As a Data Collector, she collected a variety of study participant data, including accelerometry, sleep behavior, anthropometric, dietary recall, and physical activity measures. In her subsequent role as Research Associate, she coordinated data collection activities, developed study materials and protocols, supported scientific manuscript development, and contributed to grant submissions through editorial review and authorship support.

Originally from New York City, Nabila now resides in South Carolina with her husband. Outside of her professional work, she enjoys golfing, reading, traveling, and spending time with their two cats.
