Kristen Jordan
Kristen joined the SC Hospital Association in 2026 as a Performance Improvement Specialist on the Community Health and Innovation team.
In this role she provides program performance support to the Healthy People, Healthy Carolinas initiative funded by The Duke Endowment to help communities in North Carolina and South Carolina address chronic health issues such as obesity, diabetes and heart disease. Her role is critical in supporting technical assistance delivery to community leaders, specifically with program competency and grant management. Before joining SCHA, Kristen served in a variety of public health-related roles including an internship with the SC Department of Probation, Parole & Pardon Services and volunteering at Harvest Hope Food Bank in the Midlands emergency food pantry. During her time in these roles, Kristen developed a passion for supporting communities, specifically from the perspective of understanding all the factors that impact health outcomes, including both clinical and social needs.
Kristen earned her Bachelor of Arts in Public Health, with a Minor in Business Administration, from the Arnold School of Public Health at the University of South Carolina in 2025. She also earned distinguished accomplishments including the President’s List and Dean’s List and is a proud recipient of the LIFE Scholarship.
