Anni Crook, MPH
Anni Crook, MPH, serves as the Project Manager for the Statewide Employee Retention and Wellbeing Initiative at the South Carolina Hospital Association, supporting the work of Work.Harmony.You. and other workforce priority initiatives. In this role, she leads efforts to strengthen workforce sustainability across South Carolina’s healthcare system by developing and implementing strategies that support employee wellbeing, improve retention, and foster resilient healthcare environments.
Prior to joining SCHA, Anni served in leadership roles at the South Carolina Department of Public Health, where she advanced initiatives focused on health equity, language access, and the social drivers of health. She contributed to several statewide public health efforts, including the 2023 South Carolina State Health Assessment and the 2025–2030 South Carolina State Health Improvement Plan.
Anni earned both her Bachelor of Arts in Public Health and Master of Public Health from the University of South Carolina. She serves on the Board of Directors for Keep the Midlands Beautiful and on the Governing Council of the South Carolina Public Health Association. In recognition of her leadership and contributions to public health, she was named the 2025 NextGen Public Health Leader by the National Network of Public Health Institutes.
