SCHA Zero Harm Awards Portal is Open Through August 14
Our 2023 Zero Harm Awards application portal is now open for submissions for the expanded slate of awards that, in different ways, recognize our member hospitals in their commitment to zero harm and their journey to more highly reliable care. The portal is accessible here. All member hospitals are eligible and encouraged to apply.
This year’s award categories are:
- The Certified Zero Harm Awards, which recognizes member facilities for preventing hospital-acquired infections and injuries in common categories and procedures.
- The Drive to Zero Harm Leadership Award, which recognizes leaders who are creating and sustaining highly reliable organizations with a culture of safety.
- The Zero Harm Priority Awards, which includes our Drive to Zero Suicide Award and two new awards, the Drive to Zero Disparities Award and Drive to Zero Workplace Violence Award.
We’ve been working hard to make the application for the Zero Harm awards as painless as possible, including an easy save feature and an ability to build upon last year’s applications in some instances.
