Call for SC Capstone Award Nominations
The Capstone Award, presented by Live Healthy SC and SCHA, recognizes individual hospitals as exemplars in pursuing excellence in delivering highly reliable care, developing a healthy workforce, and building healthy communities. Hospitals will be judged based on the engagement of C-suite and Board leadership in these three areas, the processes and policies in place, engagement with patients and families, areas with a specific focus on equity, and evidence of self-assessment, education, and improvement.
Capstone Award winners will be announced during SCHA’s Annual Meeting in February 2021. Note that we have made an eligibility change this year in order to focus on individual hospitals rather than health systems. Hospitals of all sizes – small, medium, large – and communities (both urban and rural), are encouraged to apply. Hospitals are defined as having only one delivery location. In the future, award criteria will be updated every two years.
