SCHA EmPATH Summit
Join us for the SCHA EmPATH Summit!
Driven by a concentrated effort to improve behavioral healthcare across the continuum, significant improvements have been made throughout South Carolina in recent years. The creation of Emergency Psychiatry Assessment, Treatment, and Healing (EmPATH) units across the state is just one example of this improvement. When a hospital has an EmPATH unit, appropriate patients can be moved out of the hectic emergency department and into the calm, therapeutic EmPATH where access to psychiatry and integrated services are readily available. Join SCHA, the SC Department of Health and Human Services, the SC Office of Mental Health, Vituity, and a plethora of SC hospitals and local/state partners for the SC EmPATH Summit.
