SC ASHRM+AHQ Virtual Coffee & Conversation + Survey Readiness

This education activity will address the common findings cited and focus areas for The Joint Commission, (TJC), & Det Norske Veritas, (DNV) hospital surveys in South Carolina Hospitals. We will discuss what has worked, what has not, and lessons learned. Full agenda available here.

Learning Objectives:
▪ Review areas of focus common to the 2022/2023 TJC & DNV surveys
▪ Discuss how collaboration between organizations and departments can help mitigate survey finding risks.
▪ Recognize some pitfalls and struggles common to Survey Readiness.

Faculty: Sarita Franks, BSN, RN, CPHQ
Sarita Franks is the Provider Quality and Peer Review Coordinator for Lexington Medical Center. In this role, she is responsible for the coordination and oversight of the provider quality and peer review programs for the acute care and ambulatory network at Lexington Medical Center. Sarita has over 40 years of healthcare experience with 20 of those years in healthcare quality. She is certified as a Professional in Healthcare Quality since 2014 and has served in many SCAHQ and now SCASHRM + AHQ board positions, committees and task forces. Sarita is currently the President of SCASHRM + AHQ.
