IOP/PHP Introductory Meeting for SC Hospitals

SCHA is hosting a virtual introductory meeting on Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) and Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP), which are structured outpatient treatment programs along the continuum of care for patients with mental health and/or substance use conditions. The primary difference between IOP and PHP is the intensity and duration of treatment, with PHPs providing a higher level of care.  There are documented improvements in patient outcomes, notably a higher rate of building and maintaining support networks, building self-confidence, higher abstinence rates, lower frequency of substance misuse, and lower two-year mortality rates.
