Renee Shore
Renée Shore joined the South Carolina Hospital Association in March 2026 as the Program Director for the Statewide Employee Retention and Wellbeing Initiative, to support the work of Work.Harmony.You. and other workforce priority initiatives. With over 20 years of experience, Renée has supported efforts aimed at enhancing both organizational and personal holistic wellbeing, improving worksite culture and engagement, and cultivating retention and professional development.
She earned her bachelor’s degree in biopsychology from Wilson College and a master’s degree in public health, with a specialization in social and behavioral sciences, from Capella University.
Prior to joining SCHA, Renée served as the Director of Employee Wellness, EAP, and Engagement at Tidelands Health where she oversaw the health system’s holistic wellbeing programs and workplace engagement efforts for its 2,500 team members for nearly 17 years. Her background also includes experience in social and community service efforts, with experience in intensive case management at the Franklin/Fulton County Mental Health Program in Pennsylvania and substance abuse and addictions counseling at Shoreline Behavioral Health in the Myrtle Beach area of South Carolina.
Ms. Shore is certified as a Mental Health First Aid responder and a Mental Health First Aid certified instructor by the National Council for Behavioral Health, Worksite Wellness Program Manager by the National Wellness Institute, and in critical incident stress management by the International Critical Incident Stress Foundation and UMBC.
