This presentation will focus on the significant labor and employment law developments from 2024 that are likely to impact healthcare organizations in South Carolina. Topics will include important decisions from the federal courts, regulatory guidance from the EEOC regarding harassment and the Pregnant Workers’ Fairness Act, and the Department of Labor’s changes to the minimum salary requirements for executive, administrative, and professional exemptions.
