RBC Heritage Classic Golf Tournament to Raise Money for SC Healthcare Workers
Every year, the RBC Heritage Classic brings some of the world’s best professional golfers to Hilton Head, and their Heritage Classic Foundation also provides millions of dollars annually to support area charities. And while COVID-19 has effected how the tournament is traditionally presented, and the Heritage will be back June 18-21, with safety protocols and without spectators. What’s more, SCHA is excited to be partnering with the tournament for the “Plaid Pledge,” a commitment to raise funds to support healthcare workers and first responders who are on the front lines of the COVID-19 battle. Proceeds raised by the Plaid Pledge will be shared by the SCHA Foundation and the Heritage Classic Foundation for their registered charity partners.
“As the Official Style Sponsor of the RBC Heritage, we are pleased to join forces with the Heritage Classic Foundation and the South Carolina Hospital Association again to continue to support our healthcare professionals,” said Christopher Heyn, Southern Tide CEO. “These individuals are inspiring in their tireless dedication to keeping our community safe, and we are so grateful. Southern Tide looks forward to further showing our appreciation through this campaign.”
