30 Days of Thanks

30 Days of Thanks is a month-long campaign coordinated by the SCHA Foundation to let hospitals and healthcare workers know that we appreciate and recognize them for all they have done and continue to do to help end this pandemic. From October 25 – November 24, through communications, prizes, and giveaways, we will let them know how much we care. If your organization is interested in participating to help show your thanks to South Carolina’s healthcare heroes, submit your information here.

The campaign is open to literally everyone in South Carolina – from schools and students to businesses, churches and government agencies. We’re already hearing from many colleges, community groups, businesses, and other partners that are on board. As we approach the season of Thanksgiving, we invite our fellow South Carolinians to join us in showing gratitude to the state’s healthcare heroes.

Thank you to all our partners working together to express thanks and gratitude to South Carolina’s healthcare workforce! For twenty months, they haven’t quit on us. Let’s not quit on them.

If your organization is interested in participating to help show your thanks to South Carolina’s healthcare heroes, submit your information here!

How can I contribute?

SCHA will gladly accept donations of gift cards, theater tickets, coupon books or merchandise to be part of our weekly Thankful Thursday prize package giveaway. And we’ll be sure to give you credit on our website and social media.

Restaurants, businesses and tourist attractions may want to provide discounts, sales or special entry days for healthcare workers on their own. We just ask that you let us know what you’re planning so that we can recognize your efforts.

You can also support hospitals and healthcare workers with a cash donation to the SCHA Foundation or your local hospital’s foundation.

Can’t offer a prize or promotion?

There are a lot of ways to participate that only take time and imagination. Here are a few ideas:

  • Leave chalk messages on hospital walkways and in parking lots
  • Host hospital parking lot prayer vigils
  • Organize hospital parking lot parades
  • Create and send cards, pictures, posters or handwritten notes to hospitals
  • Create video messages on social media accounts and tag your local hospital
  • Share SCHA’s messaging on your social media acccounts
  • Support health professionals in your neighborhood by providing meals, grocery drop offs, help with yard work or running errands
  • If you own a business, post signage showing your support for local hospitals and healthcare workers
  • Stop a person in scrubs and just say thank you

Please contact us today and let us know that you want to be part of 30 Days of Thanks for hospitals and healthcare workers.
