SC Hospitals Immediately Hiring, Flexible Roles & Shifts
South Carolina hospitals are calling on licensed nurses to return to practice at your pace of work that meets your personal needs. Hospitals are looking for nurses to fill temporary and longer-term roles to support the patient care needs in our state. If you’ve been away from practice for a while and aren’t comfortable with taking a patient assignment, there are meaningful roles you can fill. If you’ve more recently left patient care but no longer want 12-hour shifts, flexible scheduling is available.
Hospitals are looking to fill needs for patient sitters, assistance with activities of daily living, medication passes, admissions/discharges, wound assessment/care, etc. You could be used in positions ranging from nurse tech to task nurse/extender or based on your interest, experience, and comfort level could take on a patient assignment.
Hospitals will provide the necessary refresher or just in time training to prepare you for select positions. The Board of Nursing also maintains a list of Board-approved refresher courses.
