Program Manager, Innovation
SUPERVISOR: Director, Community Health and Innovation
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree required, master’s degree preferred (public health or health administration degree preferred)
- Minimum three to five years of related experience
- Experience in leading teams, building partnership, budgeting, collaboration, project management, and coordination
- Excellent communication skills (presentations, verbal, writing)
- Proficient at Microsoft products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
BASIC FUNCTION:
The Program Manager is responsible for advancing programs, project development, implementation, monitoring, and coordination of grants and initiatives related to health improvement aligned with department goals.
DUTIES:
- Facilitate coordination, when applicable, with NC Healthcare Foundation and CaroNova technical assistance
- Implement multi-year grants including coordination of team activity, managing budgets, managing grant reporting and outcomes, developing agreements and coordinating contracts with partners
- Proactively identify needs and communicate project progress to internal staff and external partners, including upcoming deadlines and deliverables
- Monitor workplans and timelines with measurable goals and support reporting and evaluation efforts to ensure that the project adheres to scope, schedule and budget
- Work closely with leadership and team members to develop and advance project management infrastructure and processes
- Lead program implementation by developing and providing technical assistance to SC communities, organizations, and health care systems, aligning identified community health improvement needs with program goals and monitoring scope and provision from partner organizations (coaching calls, peer learning opportunities, action plans, grant reviews and community capacity building)
- Work with other team members to proactively produce and share relevant and meaningful reports, materials, and presentations that yield action and improvements for the team and other contracted partners
