Webinar: Sharing Successes of the SC Surgical Quality Collaborative

Mark Lockett, MD, FACS is an associate professor of surgery at MUSC where he works in the Surgical Oncology Division. He is also the vice-chair of Veteran’s Affairs and serves as the chief of surgery at the Ralph H. Johnson Veteran’s Affairs hospital. In addition, he is the surgeon lead for the SC Surgical Quality Collaborative.

In this webinar, Dr. Lockett will present the best practices used by the SCSQC to improve health care outcomes throughout the state through analysis, accountability, and collaboration. With topics ranging from surgical procedures to opioid prescriptions, Dr. Lockett’s presentation discusses the tools and strategies employed by the SCSQC to improve the quality of health care services throughout South Carolina.
