Course Description:
The program will prepare participants to describe the standard method for completing an infection control risk assessment, discuss the impact of the COVID pandemic on Joint Commission Accreditation processes, describe three ambulatory care Joint Commission accreditation process requirements for CAMH vs CAMAC and describe changes in the Joint Commission medication standards and areas of focus for 2021.

Continuing Education:
The South Carolina Hospital Association is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by the South Carolina Nurses Association, an accredited provider by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Committee on Accreditation. Participants who attend all 4 sessions of the conference and complete an evaluation will receive 8 CNE contact hours. No partial credit will be given.
Application has been made to The South Carolina Pharmacy Association for CPE credits. Approval is pending.
