Build an Ongoing Enrollment Strategy Virtual Event
As the window for open enrollment in marketplace plans opens November 1, hospitals and providers will once again be encouraging patients and the community to seek out health coverage options. But what if the hospital community could transition the focus on enrollment from just a few weeks out of the year towards a more focused, ongoing enrollment process? After all, data from the Kaiser Family Foundation show that 54% of South Carolina’s uninsured are already eligible for Medicaid or subsidized marketplace coverage.
To help hospitals consider additional options for expanding the focus on enrolling patients in public services, SCHA has reached out to 3 different organizations with various viewpoints on enrollment: Benefits Data Trust, Cadre Health, and Parallon. SCHA has invited these 3 organizations to participate in a web discussion around their perspectives on enrollment. Each organization will share its unique insight and experience from working with other healthcare providers across the country. We hope this discussion will also help SCHA and its members develop a more robust – and potentially shared – approach to boosting enrollment in the future.
