A series of Amazing Hospital Careers Road Shows has been scheduled for February and March in five locations across the state. The Road Shows are designed to provide high school teachers, guidance counselors, and career counselors with information on the career opportunities in hospitals.

Road Shows have been scheduled on the following dates and locations:

Feb. 11 – Grand Strand Regional Medical Center, 3:30-5:30 pm
Feb. 24 – Aiken Regional Medical Center, 2–4 pm
Feb. 25 – Kershaw County Medical Center, 3:30-5:30 pm
Mar. 3 –The Regional Medical Center of Orangeburg, 2-4 pm
Mar. 6- Spartanburg Regional Medical Center, 10 am-noon

During the Road Shows, SCHA staff will provide a demonstration of the new Amazing Hospital Careers DVD series and provide ideas for how this resource can be used with students or parents. Also, two different health professionals will be on hand to discuss their careers and provide teachers with practical advice for teaching students about health careers. Every participant at the Road Shows will also be provided with a complimentary copy of the Amazing Hospital Careers DVD series.
